Made as the soundtrack for a documentary about the ancient town of Crespi d'Adda in Italy, Il passato riemerso is a quiet but dark assemblage of the malincolic instrumental pieces from Passo Uno (cello, guitar, clarinet and percussions) and the field recordings from Hue, which also mixed the whole album.
