DESCRIPTION: The piece is built on three sound sources: 1 - an old tape (1976) done by my grandfather that was sort of trying to interview me: I used the voices at the beginning of the track, then they totally fade away. I also used the noise, the hiss and the crackle of the tape, that is partially damaged by time. 2 - an about 4 minutes piece of guitar impro recorded in 2015 by Vincenzo Nava (Dramavinile) with an 'unproper' equipment, that makes the background noises of the amplifier melodic and strange. 3 - a melody played by me now (summer 2016), over the Vincenzo's guitar melody, with a battery operated orange Bontempi toy organ that I own since the Eighties. 2017 |
