DESCRIPTION: Here is the awaited album that follows "Mexico" (2011), one year and a half after its predecessor. Once again Sparkle in Grey are making changes in their several styles, adding new, maybe harsher, shades to the unclassificable palette begun with "The Echoes of Thiiings" in 2003 and then passed through the multiple collaboration with the sound magician Giuseppe Ielasi, industrial masters like MB/Maurizio Bianchi and OvO or folk-pop singers such as Tex La Homa. Considered that during the sessions of "Thursday Evening" the band also recorded part of the next work, foreseen for 2014, and which is based on a 'multicultural approach', we can listen to "Thursday Evening" as a heterogenous strange album full of bizarre surprises. Maybe also because it includes three covers and a secret song that will be sent to the (few) fans who'll buy the record with its tiny pebble included and will contact back the band telling what are they going to make with it. We hope they want to build something, and not to destoy. 2013
